Texas Court Intel LLC ("TCI", "we", "us") collects only the information necessary to provide our legal intelligence services:

• Account information: Email address, password (hashed), and optional full name provided during registration.
• Attorney verification data: Bar number and jurisdiction, submitted voluntarily for verification purposes.
• Usage data: Pages viewed, features accessed, and session duration for service improvement.
• Payment data: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate and manage your account.
• Deliver court intelligence content based on your subscription tier.
• Process attorney bar number verification.
• Send transactional emails (password reset, email verification).
• Improve our platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe: Payment processing.
• Email providers (Resend/SendGrid): Transactional email delivery.
• Law enforcement: Only when required by valid legal process.

4. Data Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All API traffic is encrypted via TLS. Access tokens use HS256 JWT with time-limited expiry.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting us at the email below.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@texascourtintel.com.

7. Cookies

TCI uses localStorage for authentication tokens. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
